Overview Advanced Logistics LLC., is a Louisiana based company that was started in 2003 with a group of experienced professionals in Oil and Gas marine management and logistics management. Our business strategy required building state of the art software to allow marine operators to manage their fleets remotely on a near real time bases by making every vessel “an office down the hall”. This philosophy also allows our marine customers to be “an office down the hall” for their E&P customers to support invoicing and reporting.

Advanced Logistics (AL) evaluated other products on the market, and reviewed the gaps, strengths and weakness of the products. We, after working with potential customers in the GOM, refined the performance and cost requirements. We determined we had the unique capabilities to provide the industry with a truly transportable fleet/vessel management system that incorporates the business logic for all supply, crew, and utility vessels using a 24 hours log as its basis for business.

The original development of Advanced Logistics marine management system required the building of two software applications. The applications had to integrate electronically via satellite and the data accessed through the internet. The initial product was the marine management application called SAMM, Satellite Assisted Marine Management. Once SAMM was successfully installed and operational, the vessel data had the ability to integrate with SAMMPremier. SAMMPremier allows oil & gas companies to manage their logistics in a timely manner which has a positive effect on various marine and land transportation activities.
